Our Company

One of the 27 business units under the RD Corporation, which in turn is becoming the fastest growing and probably now the largest and biggest Filipino-owned conglomerate in Southern Mindanao, Philippines. Philbest Canning Corporation presently has the capacity to process an average of 120 metric tons per day of Tuna raw materials to produce high quality canned tuna products for its costumers worldwide.

Our Community

PhilBest Canning Corporation is located in Barangay Tambler, General Santos City. Situated in a 2.5 hectares of land overlooking Sarangani Bay, the Company is looked up by the community as a major source of employment, growth and development.

Our Cannery

The cannery complex is composed of the cannery itself, a power plant, a boiler area, a wastewater treatment facility , microbiology and chemical laboratories and a warehouse with labeling lines. The cannery is presently processing 120 metric tons and has immediate plans of future expansion.

Staff

Philbest's 1,500 strong workforce from a merry mix of personalities coming from a diverse cultural backgrounds and work experiences. Majority of the employees, just like the Company, are young with ages ranging 18 to 25 years of age.
